Christmas with Tim's family

Lauren's Papa made her a dollhouse for Christmas. He started from a kit and did absolutely everything by hand down to every last tiny shingle, wallpaper and windowpane. It was quite a labor of love that he ( and grandma) worked on for many months. Lauren was thrilled and very surprised. She loves to show it to her friends and she adores playing with and moving the furniture around.
After Christmas Eve brunch at Tim's sister and brother-in-law's house, we had fun with popping open some Christmas Crackers and we all sported our lovely new crowns. Papa was quite a sport wearing his pink crown. We had a fun morning celebrating Christmas with Tim's parents and sister, brother-in-law and our nephew and niece. After brunch we hung around and played with our new toys and games.

Beautiful dollhouse. I still have mine, for Mary... how exciting for Lauren - it is so pretty! Great pictures... it made me miss my family. We do the Christmas Crackers every year too and wear the silly paper hats too. : ) I love it!
