The kids and I decided to have a cooking day this summer. They are always asking if they can help in the kitchen when I am preparing meals, so they went through some of the cookbooks and chose some recipes. This dinner was called "Tempting Tuna Melt". They had so much fun and worked together to prepare it and then served it to us for dinner. Yummy!! Everyone thought it was a hit! I cannot lie...... my kids are so so sweet!

You inspired me to cook more with my kids. That would be a good activity for us to do during the day! Love you guys... I know... I owe you a phone call. : )
It is so neat to see the kids having fun AND working together in the kitchen. I am like Kathy- inspired to make time for "Kids in the Kitchen" meals. Thanks!
